Our beloved President and good friend Richard Hawkins passed away Saturday February 7th, 2009. Richard was 42 years old and was taken from us way too early. He will be missed by all who knew him.

First of all, I would like to Thank each and everyone of you for all your support! I wouldn't have got through this with out you! I love you all and will definately need you to keep in touch with me as much as you can.

Richard was pulled off life support tonight at 10:41 and passed at 11:00pm. He was a huge advocate of Organ Donation. Tomorrow he will have already saved 2 separate lives with his kidneys. He donated a lot more than that, for he was very young and healthy man. This will help hundreds more, live healthy lives.

He touched all of "our lives" and I know we will never forget him.

As for me, he was definately the "Love of my Life", and I intend to be buried next to him when I pass one day.

Please, keep the Hawkins family in your prayers because his step mother is in critical condition and they are going through a lot right now.

Tentatively, Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 3pm Tuesday the 10th.  Services will be held at the Country Church in Marion and then graveside services will follow at the Dugger Cemetery on 123 towards Stockdale.

Look for an update on Monday.
